My latest project is this blog.  I have started and stopped numerous times with trying to get an online space.  A good chunk of my professional life was spent in Electronic Security and I struggled with exposing the real me online.  I had a few different themes and concepts I tried in the blog sphere, but never really could find that one theme that I didn’t have any trouble writing about, that had value to others, and I was passionate about.

The birth of Everyday CIO is that theme.  Here we are going to explore the hands on practical use of technology in the “real” world that has and continues to shape my life and the world around me.  I want to explore how I got to this point in my life and what influenced me on my journey (the past), what my daily challenges that I face in my life today (the present), and where are we headed in the wonderful land of Information and Communications Technology (the future).  I hope to reconnect with some old friends in this pursuit and build some new relationships along the way, but I somehow I think I’m just going to enjoy the journey!
